Pole Dancing Classes

Beginner Pole Fitness Classes

Welcome to our flagship pole fitness classes!   We have been teaching these pole series classes for 19 years, and they get better each time!  In each level, pole tricks are taught along with transitional moves, floorwork, and a routine you can customize to be your very own.  You won't just learn pole moves, you will learn to dance!

Our pole classes are a beautiful combination of strength, flexibility, and sensuality. They are so much more than a fitness class. They are a form of movement that will reshape your body and your self-image. This is truly powerful and freeing; everyone deserves to experience it. Get ready for the most exciting journey of your life!

What to expect in our beginner classes.

Beginner 1 (essentials): Your journey begins with an exciting introduction to the pole, where you’ll embrace a new sense of confidence, strength, and self-expression. Designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, this class offers a supportive and empowering environment to explore movement while developing flexibility and coordination. You'll learn fundamental grips, spins, and transitions at a comfortable pace, with no prior dance experience or upper-body strength required—bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. Expect a full-body workout that enhances endurance and celebrates your body's achievements.

Beginner 2 (elevations): As you gain confidence on the ground, it's time to take your skills to new heights. In Pole Fitness Foundations, you’ll expand on your knowledge, incorporating additional spins, grips, and transitional moves. You'll also begin working on pole climbs and sits, setting the stage for more advanced movements. This class is an exciting next step in your pole journey, where you will build strength, fluidity, and control as you progress.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Leggings or sweatpants are welcome for the first few classes, but shorts that expose the knees or thighs will be necessary for grip as you advance. All students are required to be barefoot or wear socks and must remove all metal rings and bracelets before class. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a yoga mat for added comfort during the warmup. Some classes are open to women and those who identify as female unless noted on the description as ‘gender inclusive.’
